The 888poker Mystery Bounty Festival has hit its halfway point, having kicked off on February 19 and will run through March 7. Thus far, 19,288 entrants have competed and $670,800 in prize money awarded through the first 18 events.
- Brazilian players have dominated the festival thus far having captured six titles.
- Players from Montenegro, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom have claimed two each.
- There have also been winners from Canada, Romania, Denmark, and Sweden.
With buy-ins ranging from micros to high rollers, there’s something for players of all levels and bankrolls!
The series will culminate with a $160 buy-in, $300K GTD Main Event with multiple starting flights (Day 1 flights start on March 1 and run until March 6).
Day 2 will take place on March 6 and play down to a final table, which will be live streamed on March 7 on our Twitch 888pokerTV channel.
Anywayz Spins Up to Win $150K Mystery Bounty 8-Max

From February 23-27, there were multiple Day 1s held for the $109 buy-in Event #18: $150,000 GTD Mystery Bounty 8-Max. The event wound up attracting 1,558 runners who rebought 262 times.
The 1,820-entry field surpassed the guarantee by creating a $182,000 prize pool with the top bounty being $15,000. That went to Ukraine’s “AntonTsi”, who also finished in 38th place for only $321 plus other bounties for a total payday of $16,848.32.
Among those to cash the tournament were the following players –
- “Getoverhere” (33rd place for $353.10 plus $4,718.75 in bounties)
- “andrey59” (27th place for $417.30 plus $587.51 in bounties)
- “GiordanoKK” (21st place for $502.90 plus $818.75 in bounties)

- “drinho87” (12th place for $1,144.90 plus $1,828.12 in bounties)
- “Imiotto88” (9th place for $1,476.60 plus $668.74 in bounties)
When the final table went of eight on an overnight break, Armenia’s “PacanyYaSvoi” had 5,829,959 in chips, more than double his next-closest competition in Ukraine’s “ucanudo” (2,360,281).
The other six players were all bunched close together with low seven-figure stacks –

“PacanyYaSvoi” managed to use their big stack to make it all the way to heads-up play. But they wound up falling in second place to “Anywayz”, who had started the final table in the middle of the pack but had a nice spin up. “
Anywayz” claimed the $15,632.70 top prize, and along with $1,215.62 in bounties, they walked away with $16,848.32 in prize money.

On Monday, February 20, the $109 buy-in Event #5: $15,000 Mystery Bounty 8-Max surpassed its guarantee by attracting 137 players who rebought 39 times. That created a $17,600 prize pool split between the regular and bounty pools.
888poker StreamTeam member Josh “Josh_Manley” Manley made the final table but wound up falling in eighth place for $277.75 plus $262.50 in bounties.
After exactly seven hours of play, Romania’s “IlovePickles”, a regular on 888poker, defeated Canada’s “ehbarone68” in heads-up play.Theyo win the title for $2,196.75 plus $136.95 in bounties for a total payout of $2,333.70.

On Saturday, February 25, the $55 buy-in Event #12: $20,000 Mystery Bounty attracted 366 players who rebought 103 times. The 469-entry field surpassed the guarantee as a $23,450 prize pool was split between the regular and bounty pools.
Among those to cash were the following players –

- “BeHappyyy” (23rd place for $73.97 + $130.56 in bounties)
- “mlo.netto” (18th place for $94.15 + $191.66 in bounties)

Also, on Monday, February 27 was the $109 buy-in Event #17: $15,000 Mystery Bounty 6-Max, which surpassed its guarantee. A total of 141 players rebought 38 times to create a $17,900 prize pool.
The top bounty of $1,500 went to Germany’s “Darkwing19”, who finished in 10th place for $223.60 plus collected $1,625 in other bounties for a total payday of $1,848.60.
After 7 hours and 24 minutes, it was Montenegro’s “fanatmalini” defeating 888poker regular “Clay_Born” in heads-up play to win the tournament for $2,704.
They also had $1,308.33 in bounties so ultimately walked away with a tournament-high $4,012.33.
